Homework for Tuesday, 26.02.19: write ex.6, p.113; read and translate the text:

Sports and games

1. Children enjoy doing a lot of things in their free time.

2. Nowadays there are a lot of good sports grounds in our yards

3. They are great for different games such as hide and sick, hopscotch.

4. Children also play different games with a ball including football, basketball.

5. We can play a lot of games, both indoors and outdoors.

6. Indoor sports include swimming, badminton, table tennis and fencing.

7. Outdoor sports are football, athletics, cycling and boating.

8. Some children go in for one particular sport.

9. They usually join a sport club and have serious trainings at least twice a week.

10. Two years ago I went swimming.

11. I go to the swimming pool three times a week and take it seriously.

12. I don’t think I’ll be a famous champion.

13. I do it for my health and character.

14. I always try to do my best and help my team.

15. To sum up, sport means a lot in our life.

16. It helps us relax, makes our body and mind stronger.

17. I can’t imagine my life without it.
