Homework for Monday, 20.01.20: rewrite the story using the third conditional:

Dave went to bed very late yesterday. He didn't hear the alarm clock in the morning, so he overslept. He didn't have time for breakfast, so he felt very angry soon. He left his wallet at home and he didn't have money to buy a hamburger. He felt sleepy and didn't work well. He made some mistakes in his calculations and his chief was very angry with him. At the end of the working day Dave was exhausted and went straight home. His girlfriend was very disappointed because he didn't meet her after work and they didn't go to the cinema.

Example:

If Dave hadn't gone to bed very late, he would have heard the alarm clock.
