I’m a teenager.

1. I’m a normal teenager.
2. I often have hangouts with my friends and do teenage things.
3. My friends mean a lot to me.
4. My parents worry about my studying at school.
5. They dislike my behaviour.
6. I feel lack of privacy because my parents want to know everything about me.
7. It’s impossible to keep anything in secret.
8. My appearance is important for me.
9. I take care of how I look.
10. I worry about my clothes.
11. I think the most important thing is personality.
12. I wear what I want to wear.
13. My style isn’t dictated by the fashion.
14. The main thing, thought, is to be confident about myself.
15. When you are 16 or 17 you want to be treated like an adult.
16. You want to develop interests and values different from those of your parents.
17.  Young people disagree on different problems: the time to come home at night, doing work about the house and so on.
18. At this period of our life we face a number of problems: difficulties in our relationships with parents, problems at school and so on.
19. Different TV programmes and magazines give a piece of advice for the young.
20. But it’s not the way out.
21. Parents should help their children and try to find the right approach to them.
22. We need to learn to talk our problems over in our family.
23. If we are able to do it everything will be all right.
