A letter of application

Dear Madam,

         I am writing to apply for the position of a shop-assistant which I saw advertised in the daily newspapers.

         I am 23 years old and have graduated from Mykolaiv vocational school. During my education, I have attended many courses on design. I have also worked as a sales manager for Fashion for three years. But I seek for a better opportunity to gain some new experience and skills. I think that this job would give me a great chance to get even more familiar with the modern fashion industry.

         I speak English and Russian, I can read fashion magazines in the original. I will be suitable for your job because I can easily understand every customer. I was always interested in fashion and can’t see myself working in any other area. During my work for Fashion I have successfully fulfilled customer’s wishes.

         I enclose all the recommendations and a detailed list of all my work experience and qualifications. I hope that you will consider me for this job because this is a perfect opportunity for my further professional development. I hope to hear from you soon.
