Homework for Wednesday, 19.02.20: learn the rules how to use the Conditionals; read and translate the text:
Environmental protection
1.Nowadays environmental problems are the most important for the modern society.
2.The development of industry has a bad influence on the nature.
3.People often do things which pollute land and water greatly.

4.It is very dangerous because it damages health of the people.
5.Water and air pollution causes about 5 per cent of deaths nowadays.
6.Traffic pollution now kills more people than accidents.
7.Noise pollution provokes different mental problems.
8.The accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant caused radioactive pollution in our country.
9.Another environmental problem is air pollution.
10.One of its results is acid rains.
11.It is caused by smoke from factories and transport.
12.People cut down trees, kill animals and pollute our environment.
13.Scientists believe that human activity causes the changes of the climate and destroys our planet.
14.All these factors have a bad influence on our health.
15.More and more people suffer from different diseases.
16.It is impossible to find a healthy person nowadays.
17.Our planet is under threat and it is all our fault.
18.But it is not too late to solve these problems.
19.We have the time, the money and the technologies to save our planet.
20.We must use mineral recourses in a more careful and economical manner.
21.That’s why our main task is to change people’s habits and behavior.
22.If we stop environmental pollution we’ll be healthier and happier.
23.Only active steps will save people from the ecological catastrophe.
24.The activity of various environmental organizations will also help to improve the situation.
25.The Greenpeace and the Green Party are the most active nowadays.
