MY FAVOURITE DISH
At the age of 11 I was lucky to visit Italy; this country charmed me at
once: I really liked its narrow streets, always smiling and friendly people, a
bit strange but very peculiar way of life but most of all I was impressed by
their cuisine. Now I’ve tasted many cuisines among which there are Japanese,
French, Chinese, and Mediterranean cuisines but I’m still sure that Italian
dishes are the tastiest in the world, especially pizza.

6. To cook this dish we need:
meat, beetroots, carrots, onions, potatoes, a head of cabbage, pepper,
tomatoes, greens, salt and sour cream.
7. Borshch is especially
delicious with sour cream.
8. It is served with dark
bread or pampushky with garlic.
9. There are a lot of vitamins
in borshch.
10. I like borshch most of
all.

1. My favourite dish is
dumplings (varenyky).
2. It is a traditional
Ukrainian dish.
3. My mother cooks dumplings
with curds, potatoes, cabbages and berries.
4. Dumplings with cherries are
the most delicious dish for me.
5. They are sweet and juicy.
6. To cook them we need:
flour, water, eggs, salt, sugar and cherries.
7. This dish is served with
sour cream and honey.
8. When I visit my granny she
always cooks dumplings with cherries.
9. I can eat them every day.
10. I enjoy Ukrainian food.
